John Hale, Jixing Li, and Shohini Bhattasali recently presented their research at the 9th Annual Meeting of the Society for the Neurobiology of Language held in Baltimore, Maryland. As part of the invited symposium "Computational and quantitative methods in understanding the neurobiology of language," John Hale presented a talk titled "Word-by-Word Neuro-Computational Models of Human Sentence Processing." Jixing Li was honored with a travel award sponsored by NIH to cover travel and registration. She presented her poster titled "Neural Correlates of Semantic Coherence in English and Chinese Speakers during Natural Language Comprehension." Shohini Bhattasali, Jixing, and John also presented a joint poster titled "Localizing Structure-building and Memory Retrieval in Naturalistic Language Comprehension."
